[fusion_text]Joanna is a musical savant who loves to play the piano, often exploring piano keys as a metaphor in her highly stylized, brightly colored, pattern-dense designs. A colorful version of her piano keys motif applied on a drumhead was used on the cover of a book called Group Music Activities for Adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities written by former Hope Center for the Arts staff music therapist, Maria Ramey. Joanna’s work is also featured on the Integrity House mural in Santa Ana. Joanna says, “I like to use pencils to make artwork. I like to learn how to draw on the computer.” Joanna Buon-Cristiani has been attending Hope Center for the Arts since 1999.[/fusion_text][recent_works layout=”carousel” picture_size=”fixed” boxed_text=”unboxed” filters=”yes” columns=”3″ column_spacing=”12″ cat_slug=”” exclude_cats=”” number_posts=”8″ excerpt_length=”35″ animation_type=”” animation_direction=”” animation_speed=”0.1″ class=”” id=””][/recent_works][fusion_lightbox] [/fusion_lightbox]
