In 2004, Kita began her career in Special Education, serving as a Program Aide with the Garden Grove Unified School District. In this role, she provided hands-on program development to students whom had a wide-range of intellectual disabilities.
After receiving her Credentials in Counseling from the California Biblical Seminary in 2014, her passion for this population was reinforced.
Proudly, she joined Hope Center for the Arts as the Executive Assistant to provide programmatic support, working alongside the Director to coordinate strategy development and implementation.
Kita is thrilled to be a part of HOPE and it’s mission.
